My Story

Hello friends! My name is Abigail, but most people call me Abby Jo. I'm a sophomore at Cedarville University studying Professional Writing and Women's Ministry. I have such a passion for biblical femininity and hope to use my writing to bless sisters in Christ!

I created this blog because I love words. They carry such weight and power. I hold so many stories and songs as treasures in my heart because they inspire warmth and courage and hope.

The only thing I love more than words is the Word made flesh. He is the greater treasure and the One my heart longs to write about most. This, I believe, is my calling—to take my love for words and use it to declare the beauty and kindness of Christ.

This world is broken and unraveling—we need Christians who are willing to write words of life and hope, to humbly pick up a few of the broken pieces and weave them into something beautiful again. I believe this is what God created me to do.

I believe my calling as a woman and as a writer is to make broken things beautiful, to inspire contentment in the Creator, and to use the written word as a healing balm in this sin-sick and suffering world.

We serve a God of goodness, truth, and beauty—may every word I write humbly reflect the King.
